3) The majority of his pictures taken do not end up on the site and you really need to look at them @ the track to get what you want
4) The CD I ordered will have lots of photos not available on the web and I will be happier.

1) Your CD will have ALL your photos
2) Only about 1/3 of the pictures taken on any given day end up on the web-site. Two reasons, space and time and to incent you to buy them at the track ;)

He told me as much at the track. Most of the shots do not get posted up to the web.

Hmm maybe I should change my order then, cause i only saw a couple of me, but i am still spending $60 for 2 photos..$100 for all wouldn't be bad..Plug i am pretty sure he got one of my locking the rear coming around 11, I don't mind pics of me fucking up...lol

Thanks for the compliments guys, I was worried about being a hinderince in blue...After sticking with Dave on the pace he set for me and riding with Kurtz i had alot more confidence, even if I go alot slower when not following someone..I really need to tighten up my lines next year lol..Looking forward to it..Went from never dragging a knee to draggin in 1a, 2,3,6,7,9,11a

And Jeff is right there was a shit ton of people in yellow and blue was pretty empty, the move just made sense.

OWENS RACING PHOTOS

Hello All, I've been getting emails about the full cd package of all the photos. This is only available at the track, not from the website. As Tony says during the riders meeting and during the day, about 1/2 (sometimes less) of the photos on the computers make it to the website. I edit the photos for sharpness and content. The best bet is to talk to me at the track if you have a special need. I can be a jerk, but I'm a flexible jerk!!! The deal is to make you all look fast.... Thanks, John Owens

If you listen to Tony throughout the day, he says it a few times that not all the photos make it onto the website, and if you buy the full CD you get all the pics from the day that he can find of you before they are put on the website.

No.

John is very clear that if you see something you want...to BUY IT AT THE TRACK. There is no guarantee that anything you may have seen or want will make the final cut.

there was nothing on the monitors on moday .... he said he would be shooting all day so there wasnt going to be anything on them on monday but he was gonna put all of monday online .... or maybe it was way too early for me...

I am pretty sure I heard the same thing. There would be nothing on the monitors on Monday but Tuesday would have both days. Unfortunately, since I was leaving Monday I just had to see what would be on the web.

That's the position I'm in. Two lame pics from Monday are up on the site, and I'm not about to spend $90 on sight unseen photos that may be just as lame. Not that it's Johns fault, I just wasn't showing him my good side.

I really just want some from the different turns to see what I'm doing right or wrong. A shot from early in the day in the bowl would have fixed my body position problem real quick. I need to get Missy trained up on how to take pictures.

I am definitely getting Erin a DSLR with a high zoom for next session, and I will be using it on groups that I am not in (when not bugging instructors/Control riders with my incessant questions between sessions :D)

Found an AWESOME deal on EBAY for a Nikon D60 with 200mm zoom and x2 telephoto lens for <$800. I have a 10% off coupon coming for paypal and will buy the camera as soon as I get it.

I bought my G9 because it could do the continuous shots, but the optical zoom and auto focus isn't good enough for the track IMO.

Owens photos are nice for showing off, but amateur photos do the same thing Mike and his bike cam do.
