Well since I'm not going to get a chance to ride again till after the weekend here's my week.
Tuesday, I took the morning off from work to get some riding in. Started to head up rt 8 thinking of going up to colebrook, but then about the time I got to waterbury I started thinking about my cold neck. The Turtle fur is ok, but def lets too much cold air through at highway speed. So spur of the moment I got on 84 and headed to Cliff's in Danbury to check out what they had. Temp was about 28 or so that day. bout 70miles
Then today (Friday) I got up and figured since the sun was out I'd throw in a bit more and did a shorter loop taking 34 to 25 to 110 to 111 and back to 34. Temps started at 20 as I headed out. I got a couple people asking if I was cold.

Total for challenge: 70 + 68 + 23 + 59 + 26 + 107= 353
Starting off, just looks like snow because of the salt on the shield

Fast forward to today:
Burrr..coldest riding I've done to date. I did fine except for my hand. I'm in between switching heated gloves so all I had were the grips and the wind was freezing the ends of my fingers.

If my little cam had manual settings or if it didn't suck you'd see all the ice on the trees on this road in monroe from today.
