View Full Version : wtb: tow vehicle
just playing with the idea of getting another tow vehicle... I miss my truck, and hate relying on other people for rides to the track... anybody know of any moderately priced tow vehicles? Would be used daily for the season also, so smaller v8 or bigger v6 is the target.
thanks!

What is your price range?
5000-15000 would be nice, any more than that I'll go new, and take advantage of the great financing right now.

Ok, a couple of more questions...
Do you want a pick up or an SUV?
Are you looking for suggestions on what you should buy or are you looking to see if someone is selling or knows of a specific vehicle?

Dodge Dakota Crew Cab. Many good specimins in your price range and many of them available with the v-8. I like the idea of a midsized truck with room for 4. You still get a big enough bed to be functional.

How about a 5-spd Jeep Cherokee with the Inline 6 for $2000? High mileage, but I recently replaced the plugs, cap, rotor, fuel filter, wires, has two new U joints in the front, new rear shocks, two new Bridgestone Dueller A/T Owl tires in the front, and one new Dunlop in the driver side rear. Everything works on this Jeep, I might be moving to Boston and don't need two vehicles.

Well I saw the Dodge comment but I'll put it up anyway. I have a 2002 Dodge Dakota quad cab with a six cylinder engine. Two wheel drive. Power windows, locks and keyless entry Pionner cd player. I've had it for two years and never have had any trouble with it. Oil was changed every six thousand miles and its got brand new pads and rotors on the front. I'm asking $8700.00 obo. I've had many bikes in the back of it and it can fit two at once without a problem. And the things great on gas mileage. I wish I did not have to get rid of it but I have a company truck and don't need two or the payment. I know I don't post here often but ask a few of the originals and they'll tell you I don't beat on my vehicles. PM me if you have any more questions.
