...

So the bike has a little over 350 miles on...Where's the sign up sheets for some Noxen's School of Shenanagians??

I was putting my foot back on the passenger peg while highway slabbing it...Small peg a little hard to find with big boots...

I just wanna go somewhere and practice while getting some tips and what not...

OOoo! You're going to start attempting stand ups on the new thou before you're even done breaking it in  :o :poke:

Just practicing, plus i figure i could still do them at lower rpms..Not like i will be riding them out down the highway..Plus they are all about technique, so this way he can just explain stuff to me, and i think about it and try and experiment like i always do...

And it only needs 250 more miles to be broken in, doing an oil change at some point soon too.. The closer i gets teh more aggressive i get with it..

Just be cautious my friend. I know my ZX10 had the potential to spike me into the ground in 3rd gear on just throttle....I don't want to have to visit you in the hospital. I spent enough time in there for all of us.

Haha....just be careful. I just can't get use to standing on my rear peg to try some staggered wheelies.

come over and ride the pit bike, standing on the rear pegs in a 12oclock is a pretty good place to start! :)

Please, please, please don't under estimate that thing and flip it over backwards at high speed. It can get away from you very quickly. It weighs ALOT less and makes ALOT more power than anything you've ever ridden before. It can get wicked on you fast. I don't mean to jinx you... I just want you to be careful.

:iws: 's

careful on that thing scott, it can make alot of power a lot quicker than you might expect it, especially when the front end is already light.

I would think you might try some smooth power ups first. really if you just hold the throttle pinned it will eventualluy come up on its own and theres nothing you can do to stop it except let off the throttle. thats how I got the hang of it on my 10 first. it comes up very smooth and predictable that way. just don't go around crackin the throttle all at once, not needed on that bike.

still haven't try standups yet on it.

why not learn on the 600 first though?

i can give you some pointers sure..but you should practice on something smaller..even the fifty before trying it on your new ride

Some good idea's there.

Really just looking to hang with someone who can give advise, and he knows technique really well. I trust his judement and what not...

I know i can just go somewhere and open the throttle, but i would rather have somene around who can:
1. Let me know whats right wrong/what to watch for

2. Isn't going to say "idiot" or shake his head cause what i am trying to do is a little more dangerouse then normal. They will understand the need to master the 1 wheel technique

3. Its fun to think of Noxen as a wheelie master ready to teach the young 2wheeled padwans...lol

;)

No worries, not worried about trying it on my bike, would rather bust that then something that belongs to someone else.
