Those things are just barely more exciting than a Camry, and that's horrible. I know AWD was wanted, but I second the Mazda6. Get some snow tires with it and you'll be fine.
Apparently I need to drive a camry so I can feel better about my outback. Every time I drive that thing I feel like I'm about to slip into a coma it's so fucking dull.

Speaking of which, based on my calculations, I'm stuck with this car until approx. 300k miles (unless it blows up first). Yesterday I reached the 1/3 point

Totally different for 2 reasons.

Cars are tools and need to be reliable. Bikes are toys and need to be soulful!

This is for my wife! She could give 2 shits about fast, fun exciting.
She wants comfortable, safe and reliable and AWD. End of story.

Well in that case I've got the perfect vehicle for you. The ubiquitous RX350.

Sounds exactly like my ex. She wound up in an Outback. She was happier than a pig in poop. .. With the car that is.
Oh, she wanted bluetooth and a sunroof too.

I thought the car drove like a boat and was boring as fawk. But I didn't buy it for myself.

Although I did have plans to add a tow hitch when she wasn't looking.
