I, personally, after receiving a concussion (albeit mild), would not wear an icon on the track, especially since it is a non-approved poly shell.

Honestly at this stage, i have reserves about wearing anything that isn't a MIPS lid. Which strangely enough, they don't make many of for street based lids. Dirt and Bike helmets are getting a lot more options. it looks like a few of the Bell models are the only street lids with MIPS.

Bell Star, Bell Race star with Flex technology and 6D ATS-1 with the ODS technology are the higher end helmets with at least a composite shell and additional internal technology.

Also Bill, please wear a composite shell helmet. I'd like to see your pretty face still be pretty.

Both my dirt and now bmx helmets have mips. 1 concussion is enough for me. I know it's not a guarantee but I'll hedge my bets.
