Don't listen to most the folks here that don't know Duc about Ducati.

I mis spoke yesterday in my post when I said the 996. I meant the 998 is what I'd look to buy from this series of Ducati. The 998 has the Testa engine. Again which is a MUCH more reliable engine than the Desmo motors. SO your maintenance is much less and ease of that maintenance is also much better. Same advice though. I don't care if they say they changed the belts an hour before you got there. Change them yourself! Then download a guitar tuner for your phone and set the tension.

As for those forks. If they are 999 forks like is said those are the GOOD Ohlins stuff. That was before Ohlins went to the cheaper internals for the mass market. But also that could go out the window depending on what they were rebuilt with.

Those calipers. Eh..... If I were to buy that bike I'd sell those forks and get a set from a 1098 or new bike that has the mono block radial calipers.
