Default Firewood

I was wondering if anyone had a good guy that they use in the hartford area?

I know craigslist, but who knows what ya get?

Its cold out... so im looking for seasoned and split wood.

If u guys got trunks and stuff for free i would be up for renting a splitter

One of my buddies dads sells seasoned wood by the cord. Hes a frenchie and he has a perimeter around his house with a friggin split wood fort.. Haha.. I will shoot him a ring and the wood is located in plainville but i dont know the cost

I got wood in log legnths, 3 years seasoned, 550 a log truck load ( 8-10 cord.)

FWIW...

I bought a cord of craigslist from a guy in Newington named Tim. $175 delivered. Don;t buy from him. The wood is not as seasoned as he claimed and does not burn like he claimed. It will be great next year after drying out on my rack, but this year is slim pickings.

It's about $100 to rent a splitter fro HD for the day. Find some one to help you split. It goes much faster that way.
