Default J-Day Off Road Events

Kyle and I plan on trying our hands at the J Day off road events this season.

http://jdayoffroad.com/

Anyone else thinking of joining? It seems like a great way to get more seat time on a dirt bike. For minimal entry fees. ($60 your first event and $40 everyone after)

Both of us plan on the Sprint Enduro Series.
May 12th.
Aug. 25th
Aug. 26th
Sep. 22nd.

It'd be awesome to get a good group of us freaks together.

I might run one or two, IF I have a dirt bike.

Southwick is a great one. I ran crow hill too, that was fun.

I'm torn because NETRA will require a unique set of numbers. as stupid as it sounds i don;t want to have to swap plastics, or graphics, or whatever, to accommodate 2 racing org numbers.

I'd do a fun day or something, but idk about racing.

Plus you don’t need regular side numbers for Jday, just a little square sticker up front. You buy a very cheap (under thirty bucks) transponder for your helmet that is yours to keep and is good for the whole season. All timing is electronic, no number reading people necessary...in the GPs, you can even see your position each lap on a monitor (if you wanted to take the time to look)

Looks like you running both organizations now Kyle!

selfishly I want to do Jday because they have 3 digit numbers and according to their timing site, my LRRS number is available, which has meaning to me. NETRA is 4 digits and assigns you a range from which you can select. so i'd be 3500-4000 I think it is. maybe i can get 3609 and just carry around a pack of sticky 3s lol.

I’m just saying that Jday numbers are kindof unnoticeable in general...I get it if it’s a date or whatever but whatever number you get is just going to scribbled with magic marker on a sticker about the size of a playing card. people can barely see it even if looking for it...as a result, you could put a huge 609 on the number plates, with whatever background you want, and it wouldn’t matter because they don’t read it and there’s no rule against it. You could also just leave the netra number on. Or you could but separate number plates and swap them. Is that thing roosting yet? I’m hoping it’s simple for you...

Before you guys commit to any Jday's. Go spectate. Especially at Southwick if possible. It's a spectacle for sure. Let me know if you want me if you're going.
