Default Advice for what to do next

So as some of you may know, I've been without heat and hot water for close to 3 weeks now. Long story short It's a brand new high efficiency gas furnace. My techs come out and get on the line with the furnace co's tech support. Their tech support tells my guy they need to change X part. Since it's under warranty X part is free but I have to wait for it to get here (usually 2 days) and pay to put it in. I've got 3 parts now 3 different times and nothing these guys have been at my house 4 different time. I've paid my techs over $1000 for their time, missed 4 days of work and have been running space heaters for 3 weeks and I still don't even have heat. I'm not a litigious person but I'm starting to think I need to get my lawyer involved. I've called the furnace Co multiple times and demanded to speak to somebody who's in charge only to get a voice mail and still no calls back. Anybody have any ideas of what or how to get this going or any advice on a lawyer or anything I'm beyond frustrated at this point

Do you have any lawyer friends who would be willing to call them and drop the "hi, I'm john jacob jinglhiemer schmidt esquire, legal council for aaron, please return.our calls blah blah"

That would most likely at least get you some headway and a reply.

I wish, however I think I'm past just getting resolution at this point. I pretty much want restitution. 3 weeks in CT in winter without heat or hot water and complete lack of competence or caring on their end has taken my general good will and thrown it out the window

I always hate this answer. But, try the news. Let them out the local company on the air. Then they'll take you seriously at least.

I was going to suggest contacting WFSB, they do that 'i-Team Investigation" stuff... I remember them doing one on a dealership that closed up shop out of the blue in East Windsor after taking money/deposits on cars and not giving up the cars.

It's Actually not the local co's fault, it's the manufacturer that I'm having issues with and they're in PA. The local guys have been doing anything and everything they can, but with out the manufacturers help they're screwed

If I am understanding this right, every time you have him out, you're paying him. Therefore, local guy is just as much at fault in my mind. Get my X working, stop throwing parts at it, if they don't know what they're doing with it, get some one who does.

So, manufacture and local rep. both at fault imo.

Are you using the same company each time? If you are, you might want to consider a mom and pop operation. Explain to the guy what parts the other company has been throwing at it and see what they say.

Short of that I would start looking for high up management at the company you purchased it from or do what Kyle said.
