At least you would only have to buy one! If the price of the 5.75" was for a pair I would have ordered them already.

Love the idea, but I really don't want to go chopping stuff up unless I'm sure I'm not going to be reselling the bike or car I put it in.

If it were a true drop-in replacement for my existing bulbs, then hellz yeah. Good pricing.
Pretty sure they're a direct drop in to any 5.75" or 7" round bucket. It's a full sealed beam light, not just a bulb. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying.

They have adaptive low beams based on lean angle. The reviews and videos all show a nice even output and a sharp cutoff. Only drawback is they cost a million dollars.

I've always wanted to improve my Street Triple headlights (bought a spare set to do an HID retrofit but they don't make projectors shallow enough to fit the bowls).

That's about it. Just thought these were pretty cool. Motorcycle content!

These guys are considered the best int he truck and offroad worlds. Pricey but top quality.

There's no lease option. Still think it doesn't seem that bad?

that joke was weak.

but in all serious for 500 bones if something were plug and play with minimal fuss I'd be all over it. Dealing with wiring has been the one reason why ive never messed with lights on any of my bikes or cars (but in all but my current car i just opted for the hids)

My new bike came standard with cornering lights. 3 levels on each side. Haven't tried them out yet, but they look cool in the garage, when i'm sitting on it, making motorcycle sounds...

So I might have drank the kool aid and ordered one of these..

I'll report back when I get it if anyone cares lol.

Will my bike look stupid with two headlights with different bulbs? Probably. I dunno. It works for BMWs.

I also paid quite a bit less then the $475 in my original link, and had some money laying around in my paypal account from fantasy football winnings. If I type it all out it makes the justification more real to me.

Update: got my "never used, open box" light yesterday. It had bug splatter on the lense. Whatever.

Cleaned it up, bench tested it aaaand there's no low beam. Told the guy I bought it from. Said to keep the light and reimbursement should be on the way.

I guess if I want the real deal I'm gonna have to pony up the cash and buy new.

Edit: I should add this makes me a bit leary to buy these now.. How often do these LEDs stop working? That's an expensive creek to be up to deal with a sealed unit that the manufacturer won't even open up to replace a light/lense/etc.

If they're LED, they should last practically forever. Probably a bad solder joint inside or broken connection or something. After you receive your refund, I would open it up and have a look inside.

It is possible that some other manufacturing defect caused the element to overheat and burn out but that is a rare occurrence.
