Being in Stamford, I ride Mianus River Park, which is only moderately difficult. Nemba has Connecticut trails listed on their site with trail maps.

I went once with Chris and I thought I was going to die. Shits tough but I'll go again some time if I can make it.

Trumbull is right down the road from me. I have walked it many times. I have not ridden it yet but hope to before the winter this year. The area is beautiful but there are sometimes a bunch of people there.

We move to Hebron in a couple weeks. Good trails in town. Sounds like there is decent stuff all over the state. Figure out which CT NEMBA region you're in and join that particular Facebook page. Most have weekly rides, some are more vigorous than others, usually they are no-drop rides. Local shops might also have weekly group rides (my Monday night rides are a shop ride that I usually end up leading as I know the trails pretty good).

Riding with Marco is fun, dude can rip!

I don't know how much "group riding" I really intend to go. I never really got into riding my road bike with other people, kinda enjoyed the introspective solitary time. Off road, I'd likely never go out alone, just maybe with a couple people I knew.

I think next week one day Chas and I may go to Trumbul, I'll let you guys who are interested know.

Mountain biking is a blast with other people. I usually go out with 2-3. But the more the merrier.

Maybe this weekend... Motorcycle class got cancelled so I'm free. Gonna check with the co-workers.
