at this rate i'll ride it leaking. its slow. i'll keep an eye on the level.

I was going to suggest riding monday but you're at a TTD

OCD kicking in... Why ride with a leak when i have fixed literally everything else on the bike.

New Shift Shaft (common cause of continued leakage after seal replacement: Bent, scraped up. etc. probably done by me trying to remove the bad seal), gaskets, and another new seal is under $100. probably an hours worth of work to replace. Might as well.

If I slightly over filled the crank case oil on my last KTM smoker, it would leak oil from the counter shaft seal. Before going through the trouble of replacing the seal, it may be worth double checking the gear oil level.
