Default NETA MotoTrials 10/22/17 at MMC, need checkers

Meriden Motorcycle Club is hosting a NETA Championship MotoTrials Event on Sunday, October 22, 2017. I'm the Trials Master (similar to Trail Boss for NETRA Events) and I'd like to offer an opportunity for anyone that has an interest in seeing this event - to volunteer to help as a "Checker" to work a Section with an experienced person from 10 AM to 3-3:30 PM.

More information is available from NETA Website: http://newenglandtrials.com/Events.html

We typically have 16 Sections (8 Expert & 8 Novice) and need to know in advance, if you are available to be a Checker/Observer by October 12th RSVP deadline. It is my intention to make the Year-end event more interesting by having 9 Expert & 9 Novice Sections, if we can get enough volunteers.

If you want to check out a NETA Moto-Trials event; before committing your time - there is also a NETA event hosted by Springfield Motorcycle Club in Brimfield, MA on 9/24/17 (Spectators are Free; though a donation is requested for Land Owner at the Gate).

Dirt bikes are encouraged for volunteer workers, to help get out to your assigned section. Lunch is provided & along with contacting me to work at MMC; we need you to arrive by 9:15 AM to assign Sections. There will be a Checkers meeting at 9:45 AM & need to be at your Section by 10:45 AM.

Thanks, Bob Poetzsch

I'm in Bob. This is a really cool event guy's, and we can ride out to the sections on our duel sport bike's. And we can bring a cooler of adult beverages out to check.

I went a few years ago and the skill of these riders is amazing

With this being the day after I return from WV, I can't really commit, but if I'm back, maybe I'll come check it out anyway.

Springfield Motorcycle Club had a very good turnout (78 Entries) in Brimfield, MA yesterday with Riders from 7 to 70+ years in age. The heat made for a somewhat challenging day, but everyone had big smiles! There were 16 Advanced Riders, so the popularity of this sport seems to be growing.

Less than 4 weeks until 10/22 NETA Event in Meriden. We have been very busy clearing downed trees and making Sections close to club house for anyone that wants to come check then out. The grill will be fired up and Food concession available.
