I really don't get why you're keeping this such a secret when you're looking for help.

I truly wish you the best on this but at over an hour from my door I expect to go play there 2-3 times a year tops.
Hey, I gave the zip like Tim asked!

We had a conference call last night and there is much that needs to be worked out. The facility is used for other events but only the main camp area so there will be scheduled events and not an open to the public policy.

But yes, we will be looking for help but I'm not going to ask unless this land is under contract. We are offering a 5 year legal contract with the owner this way both parties are protected from someone backing out. He would have to sell the land to void the contract. The owner was once a NETRA racer years ago so riding there looks good. There will also be 4x4, ATV and Side x Side trails.

Our first land owner meeting went well! We did some riding on the property with his son who is a NETRA racer and the people are really cool. The facilities on the property make it an easy entire weekend stay there complete with places to fish, swim, kayak, ride, two cabins that can hold a total of 40 folks. The trail conditions weren't horrible but the back side of the property needs some work. This will slow be technical riding, no 5th gear blasts anywhere on the land. These trails will kick your behind on a bike for sure. We spent three hours in the woods and didn't access more than a 1/4 of the land. There is some old ruts from some NETRA races they had there years ago and some marked trails but that will be part of what we need there. Trails need to be cleaned, marked well and mapped. COREC has it's final meeting with their BoD on October 22nd which will be the yes or no day seeing we have get it passed them first. If we do get an absolute yes, we will be immediately scheduling work parties for the property. The first thing to keep in mind is that this is not a "perfect" situation because the land owner does have requirements, although not unreasonable, to protect himself and his BoD. This will be worth putting your time into without a doubt!

Sadly, I have a feeling you already know how it works out.

Yes, we had a Jeep with us and trail rates anywhere from deep blue to black. Not stock friendly.
