I use whatever is cheap for the bike and wifes car. which usually is the place that the dealer uses to fill cars.

the volt I tend to try and use good stuff because that car pressurizes the tank to keep the fuel fresh. I've had tanks of fuel be in there for over 3 months before running it empty.

What car? Does it have port injection too, to stop build up of carbon?

It's a Hyundai accent. No port injection

I use premium in my Cruze (1.4t works its ass off to move that car around) and in the KTM, from the rswarrior forum it's been reccomended to just run whatever unless you modded the bike with HC pistons then it requires premium to avoid detonation. If the Cruze didn't run like shit with reg/mid grade I'd run that but every time I've tried it the thing runs like dog poo for about 450 miles till it's time for a fresh tank.....

Most cars have knock sensors then retard timing until knock goes away
Fouling with a dirty combustion might make an engine more prone to knock

Both performance and fuel economy will suck with retarded ignition

I am guessing that general quality control would be better with tier one (naive)

and SEAFOAM
