Dispatch in Waterbury is privatized. All they could tell me is that an officer was dispatched and saw nothing. I explained that they could check FB to see the bike, all she could say was that the officer saw nothing. What a fvcking waste. I then asked to speak to her supervisor who listened to my story. I was told that the dispatched officer would call to take a statement. He called, I explained my story for the 7th time. He said it would go to a detective. I then asked what the detective would do. Officer said he did not know, he wasn't a detective.

I wish I could speak to a friendly LE
O. I get the sense that this is just routine for them. Its someone's property, someone's motorcycle. I sense the system is failing.

FasYankee,
LEO knows the address. I do not want to publicize the address where the bike is stored. Do you have any other suggestions?

This is why every time an officer leaves Wally for another agencey they're considered a fucking rockstar.......

Other agencies are like that though, patrol takes the initial (writes a small report) and hands anything that requires any sort of investigation to the bureau. The other issue you have here is what I stated before, you're 3rd party caller. You don't have a dog in the race, if you called us to report a stolen motor vehicle and it wasn't yours we couldn't take the report. I forgot killdozer's real name (only met him once), but if someone can call him and have him get to the PD he's undoubtedly going to get a lot further than you calling for him.

Check the FB photo. There are 2 bikes in the garage. Could they both be stolen?

I never get alerts for pm's in my email, and I check my junk folder also. It's turned on in my options but just don't receive them.

Hope the bike can be recovered.

Pm sent, email sent.
I spoke with a detective last nite, took my statement and promised to look into it.

If I don't see action today I will call channel 8. I may also publicize the address and let the vigilantees do their thing.
