Default Well Pump Puller Rental

Need to pull my well pump because it shit the bed.

System is hundreds of pounds. Not possible to lift by hand. I can try to build a system to pull it, but that will take time I really don't have. Does anyone know of somewhere that rents deep well pump pullers?

Deep. Tried to lift it with my cousin. Wouldn't budge.

I lifted it a couple inches by backing the truck over the cap and using a ratcheting tie down to pull it up from the trailer hitch.

Might have to make something tomorrow. Just really don't have time.

You'd kink the pipe.

No idea on depth. I'm guessing around 300ft.

Pipe is 1" ID and approximately 1.325" OD.

Not if you set up a pulley directly above the shaft.... i.e. a m/c wheel on a rod

A guy at work had his done recently. $1500 for a new one installed.

Let me know if you want me to get you the contact information. Guy lives up in Granby so I'm sure they'd travel out to you.

Thanks I appreciate it. Trying to avoid that if possible. School payments are killing my bank account.

What is the biggest wheel you have around? Toss together an A frame to support the wheel above the well. Hook a rope on and pull with your truck..

Wheel should be pretty big.. Maybe 4 foot diameter min. A hack like you can wack something together that will do the trick and save some cash.. Or pay the man and have water tomorrow
