My 250$ 6 year old laptop finally bought the farm. Not a bad run for being a total piece of shit when it was new, and being progressively worse over the years.

He's right, the lien section is signed off/dated, you can bring it to DMV for reprint for piece of mind but it's redundant. I keep all my titles in the same, secure location. Some have the lien sign off some don't have anything in that section. Even if you lose it or it gets destroyed you're the last registered owner so you could always go and apply for a duplicate title claiming lost/destroyed. I think it's @$25.

Oh and got my truck back from Ford last night. Said the pig tail by the solenoid had a loose pin which when they wiggled it the code was getting thrown so they replaced it and now no code. So I basically said to the service guy that the pcm didn't need replacing after all and it was just the pigtail. I asked about getting compensated for the mis-diagnosis and without hesitation he said the computer came back "bad" so it still needed replacing. Total crock of shit but I knew that would be the response, nothing I can do now. The old pcm was sent back to Ford for a core charge so basically got charged over a grand for a $2 part fml.

I'd fight the hell out of that. I'd give Ford customer service (corporate) a call, and if that doesn't work, get in touch with the better business bureau.

Is a $300 bump in car insurance premium for 2 cars total typical once your year renews? No tickets, two old farts driving and a 2005 and 2010 vehicle. Seems higher than I ever remember bump wise

Bet if you call and inquire the reason for the premium increase they will state that the overall cost for insuring in CT continues to increase.

This.

But when you call around to another insurance provider, imagine that, you'll get a quote for around what you were paying before.

Customer loyalty and insurance do not go together at all.
