Default Retirement Savings

What kind of percentage are you guys putting away for retirement out of each check? And what do you think is a good percentage to be putting away to live comfortably later? And do you primarily use a ROTH IRA or a 401K?

15%.

Roth IRA until you max it out. Utilize a 401k only if your employer offers a match.

I'll be following this thread. Disney matches an absurd amount of money and I'm kind of pissed at myself for not jumping on it from the get go.

Is this because you are guessing that taxes in the future will exceed the potential income of the investment?

Shitty advise... May work for a very few, but not the masses.
