Yup, I know he gets a lot of hate but personally I liked him despite some of his antics. Sad week for the industry :-(

Borrowed a kids lifting belt last night for my final set of deadlifts, first time I had used a belt in probably 10 years. Holy shit it felt like cheating. Went from barely getting 1 rep to getting 5.

Granted I should've been able to get 5 without the belt, but the past week or so I've felt off and the previous set was way harder than it should been, so I figured I'd try it out.

Just watched two of Chris Bell's documentaries. Interesting to see Mark's size and shape transformation during them.

Eric, competition is heating up... you better use this off-season to get in shape... I'm coming for you!

Had a competition yesterday... new numbers:
Squat: 474
Bench: 303
Deadlift: 529 (wish I went higher; felt like @9 at most!)

Posted vid on FB

P.S. What ever happen with your test stuff?

Lmao, this off season should be fun. Looking to get to my biggest numbers to date.

Awesome numbers Boris, all 3 lifts are progressing along nicely! I'll have to friend you on FB and check out that video. You're still in the 93kg class right? Looking at that deadlift number appears you're liking sumo :-)

I'm still on TRT, been dialing in the dose and a few other things with the doc regarding my blood work. Its going well over all and glad I made the decision. I'm at my leanest in a while and my strength is above what I was when I was 8 pounds heavier so pretty happy with that. I currently sit around 206 and will probably put on another 10 pounds this winter to see where I end up physique and strength wise.

This was @ 96.3kg, I didn't cut. Trying to gain weight... at my height I need to be at least 105kg... but it's proved harder than I thought.

I only compete with sumo, but train conventional. Seems to be working so far.

Nice, post up pics/vids. Are you more interested in strength or physique?

Damn 105kg is a decently big size. Diet will be key for 20 more pounds, how many meals a day are you looking to bump up to for getting there? I was able to get to 220 on 7 meals for 3 months, started at 198.

I have some more videos but just need a better computer to download everything. Stupid laptop cant handle a 5 minute video especially if I film above 1080, it wont even recognize it :-(. As much as I wanted to concentrate on solely strength I keep falling back into the whole Mike O'Hearn style, power bodybuilding lmao!! I just really enjoy working each body part once a week. I had done Ed Coans deadlift program a while back to do something completely different and loved it. Definitely saw fast big gains so I have lots of potential if I really focused on my strength. But who knows maybe I will feel differently in a few months. I always go back and forth in my head, probably why I keep staying in this power bodybuilding state...kind of best of both worlds.

I got a hydrostatic weighing done this morning at SCSU. A little disappointed, I had always estimated I was around 15% bf. Actually weighed in at 203 lbs at 21.6%, eek. They said it could be a little skewed because my lung capacity was a little lower than expected, so I might have done that incorrectly.

I've been maybe 10 lbs heavier years ago, but I'm probably at my strongest I've ever been. But still, not happy at >20%. Cutting starts today I guess.
