Default 2017 MotoGP thread (spoiler alert!)

Might as well start the thread for next season.

Rumors of a Casey Stoner switch from Honda to Ducati for testing duties and possible race(s)? Honda not admitting to bike problems when Casey crashed at Suzuka could have far ranging effects...

I wish the TV coverage was this good!

He has been quoted as saying they didn't take his input of last years bike into consideration. Like that the engine was too aggressive which MM complained about during the season. With him as a test rider Ducati could make some huge improvements, as much as I think he's a putz.

I sure do love me some no fucks given Stoner.

Makes me want to go fishing.

Who wins it next season? I actually don't think VR can. I expect JL to break (mentally) somewhere along the way. Will MM stop crashing long enough to get points? Will MV come into his own. How will the Michelins affect everyone - to that point, CC will crash his brains out next year. How exciting!

Read this morning Suzuki finished top 5 in the time sheets? Sounds like the playing field could be leveled with the tires and electronics. It'd be exciting to see another manufacturer fighting for a top spot.

Vinales and Iannoni are going to dominate! (Not really, but would be cool)

Would be great if aprilia and Suzuki take the next step. Ktm has a bike in the works too. Anyone know if they will be in the mix next year or are they still a year or two out in development?

KTM is 2017 if they don't change their mind (they should).

Isn't Kawasaki aiming for 2017 as well?
