Fun one for ya.

2017 F150. ~35k. I have a cut in my rhino lining and have “rust” in the slit on an aluminum bed.

For the most part, all modern cars are fine. It’s how they’re used/cared for that causes the issues.

So what? Aluminum oxidizes and that's it. It forms a protective barrier that prevents further oxidation.

I understand that. I was saying a rusted out wheel well in New England isn’t anything to write off a brand for.

Dodge's seem to rust out faster from what I've seen. Plus Ford's won't rust now.

I have at least 15-20 Ram 1500s all come in for rust on the driver side front fender by the bumper / headlight just saying but again we live in New England shit spreads and is contagious like body glitter in a strip club

I got my new truck as a lease (first ever lease), no more paying for cars that I don’t intend to hold on to, no worrying about maintainace, and a new truck every 3yrs

Yeah I agree, but man, a car or truck should be able to make it 5 years without rotting out to the point of holes in the bed fender. They may have a 5 year warranty on em but I don't think people know about that.

Give me 2 years... I'm not dealing with a payment, bad enough the insurance will and taxes will suck. Maybe you'll be at a GMC dealership by then
