Dontcha know you can 3D print guns now? You can get a 3D printer for $300.

Step 1: press Ctrl+P
Step 2: bang bang!

Hahahaha! Nothing if not predictable.

If you want the experience of building something all your own, by all means do a Glock. I just questioned the 43 since I think you should do something useful. Like a full sized gun, that could be made better than stock, to be used for some type of competitive shooting. But start with a serialized frame. 80% frames for handguns are wayyyy too much work. The idea of finishing an 80% frame is to build something that you otherwise couldn't buy (like an AR). No reason to do one when there's plenty of serialized frames available leagally.

The new design "glock" style p80 lowers are super easy to do.

But from what I've seen a stock lower is going to be more reliable, I wouldn't carry a p80 pistol and honestly for competition I'd use a glock lower also. The p80 lowers are literally just to have something that "Uncle Sam" knows nothing about.

Thanks for the info! Would one day like to get into competive shooting so based on what you and Erik said Ill keep this on the back burner for a more practical reason like that. Think I just got caught up on the ideas of not having to worry about registering it and doing it all by myself as well as it being cheaper which was definitely wrong lol

Happy birthday by the way.
