Definitely would never spend money on it, but I'd ride it just to see what it's like. There were similar comments made about the canam spider (perhaps not quite as strongly worded, but similar nonetheless) and that has become fairly popular for being such a niche vehicle so anything is possible. And in yet another different class, the piaggio mp3 has the same basic architecture and is quite popular as well. So there is some precedent for an odd 3 wheeled vehicle such as this. Yamaha has definitely taken it to an extreme compared to the other two examples though.
