the pricing on pickups is ridiculous. either get ready to pay, or have something with super high miles

yeah - i'm not looking forward to trying to hunt one down when the time comes. We'll see, I don't necessarily need something full size.

So I found out today it takes three treatments of this stuff to make it 100 percent effective. So once a year for three years at $375 a pop. And no guarantee that it will work.

And yes to lunch!
I think he said it was $14/ft so for my truck it works out to roughly $300. I don't know anything about the multiple treatments making it more effective. The guy there, and the pamphlet they had on the counter said it was good for 8-9 months depending on how and how often you wash the vehicle (less is better or at least don't get an undercarriage wash). I stopped paying attention when I found out I would be paying 300+ annually forever.

Let me know when you're down this way and we'll get together.

Smaller trucks don't save you much money in purchase price, gas or insurance. It's how I ended up with the F150, the "savings" on a Tacoma weren't worth it. Almost 90k miles later and I've never regretted buying the truck. CPO from Ford, came with a better warranty than buying new did at the time.

yeah - I have a feeling thats the road I'll end up going down, especially since I have a bit of a hookup via work at a chevy dealer nearby. We'll see.

Anyone else see that chick on the NER fb group? I swear she posts daily about her scooter. Today's latest has been a video on motoGP crashes where she asks about getting a full race suit for her to wear on her scooter
