Default Get well soon #721

Hope you're feeling well soon Brendan!

I'm guessing most on facebook probably have heard that Brendan had a spill this weekend that resulted in some busted up bones. If you are not on facebook like me, then I guess I am just letting IMBEEK know!

I was right behind Brendan when it happened, and I thought he had it gathered up. Unfortunately, one last bump must have gotten him. It really sucks as he was having a great weekend and was certainly giving me some fits trying to get bye. It was good to see you out there working it and I hope you will be back soon.

By the way, did you know you were the cover photo for the NHMS LRRS page?

Ashamed to say I succumbed and went back on the evil Fb...but didn’t see anything on there about a crash. Good luck with the healing Brendan!

Is it still a "mid-life" crisis at age 40?

He's (mostly) ok. He's home after an initial surgery at Concord Hospital, and waiting to schedule the next surgery to put him back to gether. Broken collar bone, broken arm, and a couple of cracked ribs.

The best part... even with all those injuries, he's smiling and can only focus on that he crushed his PB lap time just before the crash!

Probably because you should keep that stuff on the down low unless the injured racer wish to post up about the afore-mentioned incident.

Nothing to do with it. It was on FB. In the LRRS forum

Thanks guys! Noel covered the bases. I was braking for turn 3 when everything got squirrelly and the front end washed out. Probably too much bar input.

I'm on the mend though. Second surgery is tomorrow, then 6-8 weeks of recovery. I'll post up a race report soon!

Wow sorry to hear about this Brendan. Somehow I didn’t see this on fb. You’ve seriously come along way from when you first started riding. I hope this doesn’t diminish your successes because it doesn’t. Heal up and get back out there.
