I have one. I prefer the Fatbike on the rails to trails. I get plenty of cardio on that. Just not a lot of speed. Lol

Rails to trails is just a term for rail to trail programs. CT had 4 or 5 that I can think of. Is the one you’re using not paved?

The Farmington canal trail is paved and can get you from New Haven to middle of Mass pretty easily. I couldn’t imagine doing that on a fat bike.

The one behind my house is just a dirt path for most of it, some of it is gravel. Most people use it to walk, run, pedal or walk their dogs. Occasionally, you'll see a couple people riding their horses. The loop starts in Rockville and goes all the way to Willimantic, about 20-22 miles one way.

I use it because it's convenient and it leads to a bunch of trails that I can ride the mtb on if I feel up for it. I've been working on doing longer distance because the fun trails at Valley Falls are about 5 miles from my house, I don't want to be dead on the way back home.

A coworker and I are planning a Highland Park trip on May 26th. Think I'm going to rent a bike there.

Can't wait to try this downhill thing out.

I'm debating if I want to go pedaling at Case or Rockland in Madison on Sunday morning.

Damn. Wish I had known! I would of brought my bike to work and met up with you guys.

Also, if you get to the lookout, I think it's the yellow trail on the left. That's an awesome trail that leads to some new unmarked stuff which was sick. Best trail I've ridden at Case so far.

Ha well you don't want to ride with me yet. It's been too long since I rode my bike that got stolen and I didn't get to ride it enough to re-learn how to ride( rode a ton when I was younger + dirtbikes)
Then i lost ton of weight, then i got married and gained it back so i'm going to be like a fat girl riding a huffy up mt everest.
(Except i'm a fat guy on a nice bike riding up Mt.Everest)

I was at the gym 5-6 days a week for over half a year and lost 35lbs. 17 days in the Caribbean plus going back to old habits and no gym reversed that fast. Buying this new bike after mine got stolen was in part to try and get back in shape, though I do need to try and get back to the gym..it's like hanging out with a ex I had a bad break-up with or something.
