Trucking. 90% of my use would be the fire trails/my yard with the nephew.

I don’t want riding to always be an all day thing. I want to be able to take a half hour to sixty minute rip after work.

I don't think it's a turd.

I think it's just not 100% what I'm looking for. For some out there, I'm sure it is.

I'm probably going to hold out until at least fall, possibly winter.

The purpose of a factory-built "dual sport" is to have enough road comfort to ride to and from the dirt. Are there any FI factory dirtbikes that can be plated? Can you plate a dirt bike in CT?

But on a serious note 2 strokes aren't more maintenance.

You do have to mix gas. That's pretty much the only additional hassle.

Too much of a compromise, if you're only planning on really using it in the woods, get a good woods bike.

Heavy, street lights and stuff to break, harder to start when hot... did I mention heavy?

Just say no.

300 XC-W or TE-300 and you'll never look back.
