This place is ideal. 10 minutes from shopping, groceries, and 395. And great motorcycle roads at the front door.

I looked past our house initially because I was searching with "garage" checked. The realtor didn't have the house listed as having a garage. I finally searched without garages and looked on streetview to realize there was actually a 2 car garage.

NRIA

I knew 2 guys who build big garages with an apartment on top. Apartments were generous 2 bedroom affairs. I will caution you that unless your sure your going to die there then you should have a house a woman would be OK buying

I always buy houses with walk out basements so off season bike work
is inside the basement heated or cooled

We just listed our house for sale. I made sure to have the photographer take pictures Shop as well as of the inside of both floors of the shop and made sure the realtor put them online. She agreed that it was a big selling point of the house.

Meant to post in this thread the other day.

We were up in Maine last week and I noticed most new construction on the coast, 3 car wide, 2 car deep garage with the living space on the second level. I assume due to coastal flooding and fema insurance rules. May want to look into coastal Home plans.

Hoping to head to South Windsor. Not to far away from where we are now. I work in Southwick, Mass and Rachel works in New Haven. So it's right in the middle and easy ways to not have to deal with Hartford traffic for Rachel.

We have to sell our house first before we can close on the new place.

If anyone is looking for a house with plenty of parking and a two story shop let me know!
