Anyone know a good way to repair race fairings from crashes. I got some race plastics that had lowsides and cracked body panels which I was thinking of repairing with bondo. Any ideas of how to repair broken screw holes in the body fairings?

Repair with fiberglass and resin.

And to repair the holes...drill new ones in a new spot.

Repair with fiberglass and resin.
:iws: on the inside; then Bondo on the outside.

Fix screw holes the same way as the rest of the bodywork. Lay fiberglass, drill new hole through. If you did it right it will be as strong as the original.

Drill a small hole at the ends of any crack to avoid the crack from trying to continue to split. It takes the pressure off of the crack as the bodywork flexes.

Then, follow the above, fiberglass, then body filler.

I just went through this, LOL. Like everyone said, fiberglass repair on the backside and bondo on the outside. It's a lot easier than it seems.
