Some of you know I got my CPA last year. As such, I'd like to offer my services to prepare your tax returns. Preparation of a Federal (Form 1040 with standard deduction) return and a Connecticut state (Form CT-1040 with standard deduction) return is $135.00. Any additional services or Forms, including the use of itemized deductions, will be performed at additional cost depending on their complexity. I can do multi-state, or other-than-CT, returns.

Please e-mail me at WCoolahan at gmail dot com, or shoot me a PM, to discuss the preparation of your 2009 tax returns. Also, I'd appreciate if you could forward my information on to any friends/family/coworkers who are looking to get their taxes done. The sooner you file, the sooner you get your refund!

From what I've read Jonathan, you both get a %. So in the end you both get 8k on top of your return total. Which IMO still is not bad.

it's only 8k per residence, we researched that one too...thought we'd get lucky but uncle sam has all the loopholes covered
