Thanks guys. It's much tougher than I thought to start out in this business when you're trying only free advertising...

Any idea how it works when you drive your own vehicle for work and you don't get reimbursed AT ALL for it? I started to keep track of mileage/fuel receipts in 2010 but I sucked at it and didnt even know if it would help. Ideas?

You can deduct the mileage (times the std rate) if you itemize deductions on a Sched. A. You'd need to file Form 2106-EZ; but you can only deduct the amount in excess of 2% of your AGI.

    Mehhhh.......tax lingo....

Ok....so just for arguments sake....let's say I drive 20k miles a year for work, which is about right. And right now I make $45k. Say the std. rate is 50 cents a mile. So that's 10k.... that's what I can deduct? Sorry if I'm not getting it right. Maybe I just need to make you do my taxes and tell me what I need to do and not do from now on!
