Default Women's boots for the street

    My girlfriend needs a pair.

She is going to be riding a cruiser style bike.

I have been looking at the icon boots (and similar) so far.

Does anyone have recommendations? Styles similar to Icon would be preferred. She wont be on the track, just street.

    Thanks

Im in the same boat with you...need boots for my fiance who needed them for her MSF course. She went with a pair of tims....she has really small feet so they fit under the shifter just fine and seem to work well for her. Theres no way neither of us can plunk down the bucks for a real riding boot that would sit in a box for a while before she gets her own bike.

All the way...... Dainese Dainesella boots, i LOVE them.... and even though they're waterproof, they don't really get hot or stuffy.

All of these boots are great, but I like the under $100 idea.

Please keep the ideas coming! THX

please don't take it personally guys, but, how much is your gf/wife worth? womens gear is generally still lagging behind the mens. so if you're not ready to pony up the cash for decent womens gear, see if maybe she can fit into a smaller size mens boots. for less cash, the mens boots/gloves are going to be easier to find better protection.

maybe i'm wrong, but i say cough up the dough & keep your loved ones safe, that's a way better investment.

let us know what she ends up getting & how it works out.

    I think she is a 7.

Gloves and Jacket are all set. Need boots for now, and then worry about other gear. She is a new rider, so it is possible that she may decide she does not like riding. For this reason, trying to buy gear economically makes sense. You do not have to buy crap gear, just buy good gear that is on sale when possible.
