Surgery today went well though, he’s now 1% titanium. Hell be able to put weight on it and it’s got a splint but no running around ect for a while. 6 weeks before any real healing 12 weeks typically however he’ll still need to take it easy after this for a while. No more jumping outta my truck for dam sure.

Staying overnight for observation and he’ll be able to come home in the am. I was home for a little bit and it was so depressing and quiet. I had to leave and go out to dinner and a movie. Anyone wanna be a sudo little spoon in his place for me tonight

I had procrastinated and ment to do pet insurance for so long.

Of all people, should've asked if I'd done any calculations...

I've always been on the fence with the pet insurance stuff. would it have covered an accident like this.

Look into it for yourself. Depends on whether you think Cooper will get himself fucked up somehow.

Just did the math based on typical quotes I got. Most only cover up to 90% of the bil

We also just signed up for Wagmo.io - $10 or $20/mo (two different plans) - as a supplement to ins. Even just annual flea/tick/heartworm will put us in the black vs. the annual premium.

If I had to venture a guess.

Costs:
Monthly premium - $55
Policy term - 24 months
Deductible - $500

Total out of pocket for policy and claim $1820 ((55*24)+500)

Claim:
Broken leg - $5000
Insurance coverage (0.9%) = $4500 (5000*.09)

Out of pocket total difference of insurance vs no insurance for claim = $ 2680 (4500 - 1820)

Anyone on here have that 1,750psi Portland electric power washer from HF? Reviews seem decent and comes with a foam gun, using it for mainly washing cars. Just looking to see how they liked it

Healthy Paws for primary seemed to be the best for us. 90% reimbursement, $500 deductible.
