Default Just rode to Canada & back in 30 hrs.

I needed to go for a long Solo ride, it's been a while,

Soo i rode the entire length of Rt. 100 on Fridday, to Newport Vt., stopped at rt. 17 Appalachain Gap & did a run, Oh SHIT.....the road is soo weather beaten , that it's barely rideable.......i had a scary instant when i hit a speedbump sized frostheave in the middle of a highspeed lefthander.

when i arrived at the Canadian border, it was too early to get a room, soo i unknowingly headed down Rt. 5 to no-mans land....by the time i got to a town w/ motel's , it was pitch dark ,even w/ all my candlepower........... i did'nt want to hit a moose , soo i
opted for a "back in time" motel in St. Johnsbury Vt......damm room was $100...but it was clean & had a pool & nearby open resturant.
This morn. i got up at 0700 to get an early start, but it was fogged in..had to wait till about 0900
I rode rt. 5 all the way down to White River Jct. (over 100mi.),
then took 91 the rest of the way home. 579mi. total.
& my new Arai performed very well, it's much more stable than my old one.

Looks great. Nothing like a good long solo run.

that awesome bruce. I was up in Derbyline last weekend, did you stop there at all? Thats the town on the border where there are houses and a library that have the border running through them.

I've wanted to do a trip up VT 100 for the last few years, but just havent had the time.
