    Default RIP James Chasse

Hey guys. I don't really post on the forum much but I'm always trolling around for a good read and laugh. I don't really think any of you knew my dad Jim, he wasn't on the forum but he was an avid rider so I think he deserves to be mentioned. He's been riding since he was 14 years old and hasn't missed a season since. In 05 he sold his 78 cb750 and moved up to an 05 kawasaki z750s right off the showroom floor. His goal was to reach 100,000 miles on that bike. He was a great guy without a sour bone in his body. He'd go out of the way to help anybody who asked. He almost hit that 100k, came up a little short with just over 98k. I'll be damned if I don't get that bike back and reach that goal. At 6:15 this morning on his way to work at Pratt and Whitney his bike lost traction and high sided him into a tree. They said he died on impact and there was no suffering, that gives me some comfort. Today we lost a great rider and an even better man. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. Thanks guys

Let us know what the bikes needs for repairs. There should be nothing stopping you from hitting the 100K mark.

Sorry to hear your story, here's to Jim!

Yes sorry for your loss. I think its a great way to honor your dad in getting that bike to the 100k goal of his. The born community would be happy to help out with this.
