So I had a shop out in Wallingford called Innovative Restorations take care of all the frame repairs and they did an awesome job. Unfortunately since I'm pressed for time they were willing to take care of a little bit more for me. They're going to handle getting the frame, suspension, rear end, and various brackets out to and back from the powder coater in South Windsor as well as rebuild the rear end for me. Then have it all delivered back to my garage here in Wolcott. eta beginning of Feb

Engine is getting dropped off at Carlquist right after Christmas. Full strip and rebuild; depending on what they see my brother is willing to throw a little more into it. Maybe something like a better cam and rocker setup or even heads.... That won't be complete till March-ish.

Already have a flight home first weekend of April then its 48hrs of wrenching! Fortunately this is the part I love no trying to fight with rusty old parts; all new and shiny! Theres nothing custom or different going back in so I know er hope I can get it to at least a roller and drop the engine in. Depending on finances I might even get the transmission ordered by then too

Awesome Matt! My best friend rents space at Carlquist, he owns Speed Logic’s there and has the dyno in shop if you are looking to put the car on it once the motor is back in

I never knew they had a chassis dyno till he told me when I was there. I'll have to go check it out, but probably not since it will be dyno'ed already. Maybe later if anything else changes on it

Good to hear about Innovations. I contacted them for some work on one my cars and they had fair prices and the word around is they do pretty good work. Nice to hear they actually live up to it.

What $500 worth of brand new hardware looks like. There’s not going to be a single rusty bolt on this bitch. AMK does a phenomenal job all bag and tagged a look identical to the OE ones

Never thought I’d be so excited about a box of bolts lmao
