    SO SO SO jealous.

I had a 69 Chevelle for about 3 weeks, it was my grandmothers who bought it new. My older sister borrowed it and wrapped it around a telephone pole :/

Gorgeous project, and best of luck with it. This really makes me want to find a classic car to restore.

The heritage and history give this build all the cred it needs. Beautiful, keep us updated. I've only had my car for 25 years, maybe my boys will finish it some day!

Dammit, this thread makes me realize just how badly I need to start tearing apart my 911. Engine is definitely consuming oil now, front and rear suspension is badly in need of an overhaul, and the interior needs a bit of love here and there. Gorgeous car though, I'm sure you're excited to be getting into it and putting it back on the road. I definitely understand what you mean about wanting to keep it the way your dad had it. My car was my dad's as well and while there's a bunch of stuff I'd like to do to it there is a little voice in my head saying "leave it alone"
