I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I dunno... Flights to mugello sound expensive. Bill buying expensive tickets? Questionable.

KTM can't compete with Honda when it comes to in season development, they will probably be on par with Ducati or Suzuki (not doing much really). They aren't going to get quality top tier riders, I'm not talking the aliens, but the guys that can run a few laps with those guys on a good day. Their current tester is way too slow to give them much usable input, look at where Suzuki was this year with their previous testing done by a then slower current MotoGP racer. Not enough money, not enough talent.

Look at what KTM had to do to win in AMA SX and MX, steal probably the best team manager (Roger DeCoster) and get him to then bring in his old rider (Ryan Dungey) the next year who had already been a champion and even then it took amazing consistency, special barely homoglated bikes and the competition to have less than stellar seasons to get it done. I don't see them being that committed and I don't see them having the money available even if the were that committed.

Doesn't seem like he's to happy with being demoted down to WSBK.

I didn't get that impression AT ALL. Seriously. I listened and watched both his interviews and read the post-test comments. He was limited in testing due to weather and for being the firsr time back on a production based bike he seemed pretty happy. The fact that he was able to find positives from 2 bikes that will hopefully turn into 1.
