    So, adrenaline gone and about a week to do some Internet research, and turns out the clutch safety switch is fine. What ACTUALLY happened was my adjustable shortly lever adjusted allllll the way out (which I did once way way early on in ownership) to the point where the clutch still engaged but the safety switch wouldn't recognize. Moved back to my usual settings, fired right up. Hooray!
