    Default Mountain bike

I had two road bikes, my friend Chas had two mountain bikes, so we traded. Hoping to actually start riding again, and maybe having both will keep me interested a bit.

Who's still mountain biking, and where?

Best place closest to you is Trumbull. I've been once like 8 years ago, don't know anything about it, but it's big. Most of us like Rockland preserve in the Durham area, but it's not really great location for a meet up with others. I'll definitely ride after work.

Let me know when you hit Trumbull. I go to rock land, river highlands, or wadsworth at least once a week. I keep herring about Trumbull trails but I know no one down there to ride with.

    Definitely not two miles....

And you should try from the Spring St side lol. It's all of the elevation in like 1/3 the distance.

Ehhh I was using a very rough gauge. I also could have gotten the scale wrong. Might be 1 mile.

Nice bike man. I ride a cheap, heavy Nishiki & an old Ross Mt Hood usually. Have like 15 bikes. Love MTB, haven't hit many trails this year but we have some great ones around here. Nice trail about 2 minutes from my place in Falmouth that cuts over to Westbrook with just about every type of terrain you could want, thick woods, powerline trails, steep hills, open flats, mud, you name it. Most of the bridges/jumps got wrecked in a flood last year Never really taken my bike outside Maine, so many great trails here!
