    Would you rather...

Have the event be a time attack style, one bike on the course at a time?

Or, have multiple machines on course at one time?

This will affect how the course is built.

from what i see of true "EnduroCross" it is intended to be multiple bikes at a time.

However, from the "Promotion" side i can see how total noobs would be reluctant to sign up for the first time if it's bar banging and passing and they've never been on course for something like that.

I know its in the infancy here, but maybe an option for both? 2 time attack rounds per rider to "Qualify," top 10 riders go in to an all rider final?

Honestly I doubt this event will attract many noobs. I would do it multiple bikes at a time.

Unfortunately in today's day and age, allowing others to ride that property wouldn't be a wise move.
I own 150 acres in Rhode Island and asked my insurance company about this and they basically said I wouldn't be covered if the natural terrain had been altered in any way.

I'm gonna let the cat outa the bag.. I'm sure most of you have heard of Mark's Auto Parts Cruise Nights at his location in East Granby... well, he is turning part of his property into a huge ORV play ground for sponsored events only. An endurocross isn't the only thing happening there. We will be building 4x4 trails mild to wild, side by side and ATV trails, vehicle recovery classes, winching classes, beginner classes and maybe some stuff for mega trucks eventually. We are having a kickoff event on October 15th from 10 to 3pm. It's not the complete package that we will be offering for next year but it's a start. See the preliminary flyer attached. Since COREC is a coalition, we want to make sure we cover all the modalities in one event. it's gonna be crazy but awesome.

We're trying to figure that stuff out. The land we will be utilizing for next year is across the street and he just purchased it. The entire reason for the October event is to gauge interest. Mark is a noob to the off road scene in all aspects so he wants to make sure his investment will be worth it. The only thing we will have time to produce is going to be a couple of 4x4 trails that the ATV's and SxS's can also use. I hate leaving anyone out but there just isn't enough time. We are still trying to assemble volunteer teams to handle the show in October. This is almost like a dry run but we will have dealers on hand like Scranton Power Sports. Still waiting on answers from Manchester Honda and a few other dealers. I know Edelmans will be in for next year because of their attachment to Netra.
