Yes I do side work and also mostly free work for close friends and family . I have been on and totally into motorcycles since I could stand . I can not corner to save my life and I will absolutely NOT race anyone on the street . All though I have not ever really been known to wear full gear I am an extremely safe sane rider and always have been.

I am also completely new to posting and forums. I came here looking for some great guys to learn from and to ride with . Learning safer ways to ride and how to get into track riding has been on my mind for many years . While this whole experience so far has been as difficult as online dating , I did in the end get a shit ton of pussy and found a great girl with that . It was because I was willing to shelf my pride and put the effort in . So I am going at this in the same manner . I figure if I find a good bunch of guys that like to ride and get together for laughs every now and then this will all be worth it .

The yard at my house is awesome for summer fire pits and a great meeting point for rides on the south eastern side of the state . After getting to know you guys that are normally posting ,putting up with my stupidity ,reading and talking to me like Noel , Christian , Andy , Darren , Dave , Chris , Raby , Bruce , Mike , Joey Lawrence , Gary , Chrismpero , Alex , Matt , Ben , Bill from Seymour , Rich (HAPPY 70TH BTW) and looks like the only other one that has an awesome bike Tim-E-Duck ! ! ! I will be more then happy to sponsor and coordinate rides for anyone that wants to come weather it be in this corner of the state or trailer road trips to other states . I am at a good point of my life , my home is MINE, my daughter is in collage and I have full control of my castle .I am slowly losing control of my kitchen to my girl but hey she is an awesome cook .

This site from what I see as far as information goes is a great place and there is people from lots of states. Definitely DO NOT let it die ! ! ! Let it evolve and become a place that people come to get together and go on rides and who knows maybe eventually do some good in what is quickly becoming a shit world . For gods sake STOP EATING THE SQUIDS . Most of the newbies to the site will be squids guys , I am all for ball breaking and think it very much has a place for newbies . If some one cant take Noel telling them to fuck off then they are most likely a hot head and do not deserve a part in what you guys have built here over the years . Noel that wasn't a green light to tell everyone to fuck off but you should by all means be the liaison for doing it as your awesome at it ! ! ! Anyway I am with out a doubt looking forward to hopefully meeting you guys some time soon . Thanks for reading and all that have reached out to keep me around when my faith in things grew small or I misunderstood a posting directed towards me
I was already locked down by the time online dating became a big thing. Now I just masturbate to online porn. Did you just volunteer to host the End of Season party? Currently between bikes or Iíd be up for a ride.

    Traaaackkkkk..... doooo itttttt..........

    Suggested reading and viewing

Twist of the Wrist II by Kieth Code both book and video (video is really good)... just buy 'em. You'll be reading and watching over and over.

    Total Control by Lee Parks

Riding in the Zone by Ken Condon. Haven't read his second book (Motorcycling the Right Way) but it's probably good too. If you come to the track you'll also get to meet him.

Sportbike Riding Techniques by Nick Ienatsch

Ken Hill also has a terrific podcast (Ken Hill Coaching)

Plus, of course, the Internet... tons of great reference material on cornering, body position, braking, all that stuff.

Learning to really control your bike is incredibly satisfying. Far better IMHO than the momentary rush you get from twisting the throttle or lifting the front wheel. A monkey can twist the damn throttle. It takes thought and technique to corner well.

To me, it's not about speed. It's about skill and precision.

People see the track bike on the trailer and always ask the same question. "How fast do you go?"

I have no idea. I don't care. I never look at the speedo and I really don't give a rip if others are passing me. What matters to me is nailing the line, hitting the apex, being smooth. Getting out of the way and letting the bike do its thing, because it's smarter than I am.

That's just me. As with all riding... it's really about what floats your boat.

I can say this without reservation, even if what gets you charged up isn't what does it for me: If you do track days, you WILL learn better cornering and braking skills. You'll become a more competent, confident street rider. You'll have a blast.

And your wallet will never be the same.....
Kwicherbichen. I'm old and I'm slow and I don't care. Get off my lawn, ya punk.

Awesome ! ! Thank You I am definitely goin to look into everything there . Honestly I am very confident itís my Busa that runs extremely loose . I have always had a fairly natural ability to control and handle my bikes . Again I am not professing that I know it all cause I do not ...... I would get another bike to play with on the track cause for passenger ridin and the trips I take the Busa ďfor meĒ is my favorite.

My iPad is mounted right in front of me the navigation is at my fingertips. The Busa is really set up to be an explorer . For track I may possibly want to get back to the VFR and V motors I thing they might be more fun to play with there .

In the large scope of what I do every time I get on my bike ? I absolutely would not be bored riding street with you Andy after all I am an old guy too ..,.,, Maybe an insane one for brief open road moments but thatís about it

It was entirely my fault. Dry pavement, broad daylight, stone sober, known road, no cars or animals in sight. Definitely dead without it. Even with a good open face helmet I would've been dead, never mind a stupid ass Red Baron helmet. Glad I put it on for what was intended to be a three minute test ride!

To each his own in equipment choices. I'm only posting to say you never experience your way out of benefitting from the protection. I will never get on a bike without at least a full face helmet, again, ever. I had an open face helmet in my garage, threw that away afterwards

After the crash, because I had put on that full face and gloves and padded summer riding jacket and jeans, I got up, dusted myself off, and pushed the bike home...with plenty of road rash, and limping, with a missing big toenail on the leg opposite the side I went down on (!, stupid sneakers)....but alive. Pretty thankful for the relatively harmless wake up call.
Well said . I watching a YouTube video light turns yellow. Most of the time on YouTube people full gun it. Not this time he pulled his clutch in applied the brakes all u hear is tire screeching for a sec then he doing a back flip in the air... I commented on it he replied said he made it. Luckily. You could have been on bike scents you was 3 but you never know . Could get hit. Could get speed Wobbler. So I agree with you hear up
