    Question Snowboard/ ski gear

I know a bunch you you guys ski/snowboard and I just picked up a snowboard, bindings and boots.

Where can I get decent gear that won't break the bank?
I have old school bib style pants but if I can get regular waterproof pants more specific to the sport I will.
Also need a good jacket, helmet, gloves and goggles.

    evo.com and the-house.com

they always have sales and coupon codes for discounts so keep your eyes out

Oh and evo has a 365 day return policy, super easy to deal with returns. Had ordered pants and sent back a few times for different sizes

I found a pair of Oakley goggles from my high school skiing days. I think your head should fit?

    Alpine Hays Rocky Hill.

Look in the closeout section. With your size you should find some deals.

Sun and Ski in Avon was running some closeouts on helmets when I stopped there last week. Didn't check through much else there.

They also price-match online stores. I saved about $100 over their advertised prices on a pair of boots, and bindings by having them price-matched.

If anyone has stuff they don't need lmk I'll take it/pay for it.

As far as size I'm not sure, every time I try shit on it's different then normal cloths.

Shoes I'm 9ish - had to go with 10 in burtons to be comfy. 9's crammed my toes.
Got those on Black Friday weekend and saved 75 off normal price.

Helmets I'm normally small to medium. I just got a large today so I can wear a hood or wool hat under it and still not be to loose if I don't. The medium was pretty snug.

I've got a set of union and burton bindings (came with the board on a deal) the unions are softer and the burtons are stiffer. I'm gonna try the unions to start?????

And I have a capita board which from what I'm told is a decent board.

Goggles are like 150-200 at the ski shops. That to me seems insane.
Then I just still need pants, a jacket and some gloves. (I have cheap gloves which should work to start but there not really water proof. There Walmart specials.)

Amazon looks like the best deals with prime. The ski specific sites are crazy money but I am searching close out sections and things like that.

Yeah don’t waste a couple hundo on goggles. 100% goggles at the dirt bike shop are $35ish with multiple lenses choices and work fine. Just get a GOOD fitting helmet. You’re gonna need it. Mine’s been slammed countless times and you’re not likely to avoid a few head bongos
