actually at work time? If so like 30 hours. Maybe.

I do a lot of off hours work so maybe 35-45 total. It really depends.

My job is also fun so there’s a lot of gray areas. Examples would be bringing a customer a Yankees game. Am I still really working if we’re drinking and sitting 6 rows up on the first base line with judge 45’ away? Or today for example everyone who works for me is going gokarting at noon. Or the countless golf outings over the summer. It makes the few days that REALLY suck when I’m laying people off or pulling your hair for a few months negotiating a contract only to lose it at the last second much more bareable.

Commute, to the office 36 minutes. But I come here twice a week. 90% of the time I work from my truck or my house. I’ve got 16k on my truck. I got it in October.

    40. I work longer hours sometimes though. My commute is 30 each way without traffic, but can be up to an hour each way if people suck at driving (which is always).

When I'm on the road, they're typically 12 hr days. I spent enough time in AL during Q1 alone this year to have them take out AL taxes; you do the math, I don't want to.

The past month has been really slow; I'm struggling to even find 20 hours of work to do.

During normally-busy time, I'm probably putting in 45+/week. During crazy-busy times, I'm 50-60...largely because a lot of my time is spent waiting for people to send me shit to review (and usually question / make them fix), and/or incorporate into some briefing/presentation/etc. So I end up sitting around with my thumb up my ass all day, then doing the work at night.

I voted for 40-45(and added the poll for you), because that's probably the average.

At my full time job, I think I average about 40, some weeks less, some more, mixed between a few days at the office and a few days at home. Commute, when I drive in, is about 45 minutes each way on average.

From April to October, at the track, that number goes up quite a bit, but the work is also fun. If you counted the time I'm "on the clock" at races and trackdays it is probably an extra 30 hours per race weekend and maybe 20 per trackday event, adding 50 hours/month total. Again, that's truly fun work, so it's hard to count it.

so average week is over 50 hours for me but i thoroughly enjoy what i do and where im at so the hours dont bother me one bit, plus the benefits and fantastic salary. so most weeks i put in far more hours. My longest week this year was 102 hours

I have been working 60 hours a week, generally at my desk from 5am to 5pm and sometimes some additional hours on the weekend. Commute is 30 minutes from Waterbury to Danbury when I leave at 4:30am but going home at 5pm is generally 50 minutes to an hour sometimes more. This OT work has been going on for over 8 months too otherwise Im normally 8:30-5

voted 46-50. Roughly. Some weeks are more (60-70+) but for the most part, pretty easy schedule. Minimal travel (if so, it's to Europe). No complaints here.
