2011 Pit Bike Race CHAMPION!
For the first project it will be fine to test the theory. I’ve got a 13 year old nephew who would fit it pretty well and I can use it to chase the 8 year old who lives with me full time until he grows into it.
That said, if everything works and I get it right.. I’ll really build one for myself.

If Dan's XR100 doesn't end up working out for you, I'm interested in it(for the wheels).

5000 lbs at 700 fpm in the financial center in new haven.
Sky rise like NYC it’s not uncommon to see 5k, 1200fpm. Shits moving. My favorite use of a go pro has been sticking them in a hoistway during a full load safety test when you overspeed and hope the safeties work... fun fact, going down is not the worry in an elevator, the governor will trip and it hits safeties. Going up, there is none.
*because someone who thinks they’re god I’m sure will try to correct me. In a modern, new elevator this isn’t the case because of dual brakes or rope grippers. Problem is, they’re not required until 2013 code. CT was the last state to adopt the code on 1/1/18. Everything else is grandfathered in.
