I’m just about to buy one of the 3500 harbor freight predator inverter generators...is everyone here (who has had one) still thumbs up about this thing? It’s on sale for 659 and I intend to use it to power the AC and other appliances in a beater 1995 class c RV I just bought. The Onan generator in the Rv is very loud, not starting, and says 4000 on it.

I have still yet to pick one up. Probably will in the fall when we head out to the breachway with the camper. The $659 price happens pretty frequently so I figured I’d wait. Every site I’ve been to thus far has power so it’s no big deal.
    -Gabe, is a racist.

    YUP.

I'm using mine in place of the Onan 4000w Microquiet that failed from my Class C.

The HF 3500 will run the camper just fine. I did kill the AC for a minute to run the microwave just in case, but it ran the AC nonstop at NYST for two days, wasn't bad on gas, and was quiet.

I'm planning to disassemble it and see if it will fit in the Onan enclosure, so I can bolt it up under the RV, now that I've verified it works well.
