    Default WTB: trailer chock: Free/cheap

My small trailer is about 4 inches too short. I would like to cut the rail that crosses the front of the trailer and weld a wheel chock to the trailer tongue just a few inches past the existing deck termination which will allow me to close the gate fully with the bike centered.

It doesn't have to be big, or fancy, or particularly strong, just steel. I know i can get one for like $40 at Harbor Freight, but it anyone has something they've spent more time moving around the garage than transporting bikes, i'm in.

That's a good idea on that trailer.
Not mine, but I saw this ad the other day if you'll be in the guilford area https://newhaven.craigslist.org/mpo/...520556569.html

The one posted is a harbor freight one. I’ve been using those for years with out a issue. I have another I bought off Mo for 20$ I won’t use. You can have it for free.

The catch is it’s up in Vernon, but I will be in orange on wed most likely but will most def be in northern guilford area fri night.

I’ll be up Erik’s way Tuesday. I’ve also got your hammer drill floating in my truck.

I have the one below I bought from Amazon for $50. At the time, I didn't really have the money to spend on the Condor one which was on a trailer I was borrowing for awhile. I've found the Extreme Max to be a very worth contender both from an ease of use perspective and robustness.

If Erik and Handley can meet up that's an easy win.

I work in Milford so meeting up in Orange is fine too.
