Mine just sucked when I dropped it. But it also went everywhere and through everything I pointed it at. But it was cheap enough to get me hooked. And pretty dead dick reliable. Baring the time I left the ignition on and killed the 🔋

If you are interested in 2 strokes you are welcome to try mine out. I have enough lawn and rocks to make an interesting little test loop for you.
Mine was a 650. Very different beast.

Joe really only complained when his fell over. I say toss on some real dirt rubber and give it a go. Dirt tires are cheap enough. Plus you know where you can change them easy.

KTM MCO does not come stamped as "Off highway only." so you can get them registered pretty easily.

    Along that topic...
If a dirt bike has been converted and street-plated outside of CT, are there any difficulties with purchasing and registering in CT? Is that just bringing the PO’s title/registration to the DMV along with a VIN check? I don’t believe there is any additional inspection to register in CT, right?

Thatís how it used to be. Depending on where you get the vin check, they may try to send you to weathersfield for a courtesy inspection, if it ďlooksĒ like a dirt bike. Even had some dumb skirt try to do that when I vin checked my 1290 super adventure r. She said it looked like a dirt bike because of the knobby tire so it had to got through inspection. I asked if I could talk to some else that didnít think it looked like a dirt bike. Cert even says itís certified for highway use in the USA. Didnít get anywhere with her. Went to valvoline and they didnít ask any questions.

Picked up a 2013 KTM 250 XCF to replace my 2005 450 EXC. Pretty psyched. I won't get to ride it til Friday, but just loading/unloading and rolling it into the garage, it feels much lighter. I like the idea of fuel injection, and the bike is very well sorted. Lots of aftermarket stuff, all properly installed, and ALL the stock parts.

    Hint...2 strokes don't have a F in their name...
